Brief Summary   Title of the project: Association between colour description and colour preference using pretrained sentiment analysis algorithms in individuals with normal colour vision
Type of study:  Prospective study- cross sectional study
Aim:  To find the association between colour description and colour preference using pretrained sentiment analysis algorithms in individuals with normal colour vision
Objective: 1. To find the relation between color preference and color description. 2. To predict the color preference using pre-existing text analysis machine learning algorithms

Materials and methods
Study design: Observational study
Study setting:  Department of Optometry Manipal College of Health Professions Manipal
Study period: One year
Sample size: 50
Study participants: Volunteers who are 18 to 40 years old will be recruited through advertisement. Participants who are willing to participate in the study will be undergoing the free preliminary examination. The preliminary examination includes measuring visual acuity with a Snellen visual acuity chart and color vision with HRR. If the presenting visual acuity of the participant is 6 by 6 with the refractive error of less than or equal to plus or minus 6.00 D and if the participant does not have any color vision deficiency will be included in the study.

Outcome: Sentiment scores provided by MATLAB’s text analysis toolbox
