TOPIC: ROLE OF PHYSIOTHERAPY IN DISASTER MANAGEMENT INVESTIGATORS: TRIVEDI NAVJYOT S, PhD Scholar, School of Physiotherapy, RK University AIM: To study the Role Physiotherapy in Disaster management OBJECTIVE: · To find role of Physiotherapy in Natural and Man Made Disaster Management. — To find role of Physiotherapy in Preparedness, Response and Rehabilitation Phases. — To find Past, Present and Future role and scope of Physical therapy in Disaster. METHODOLOGY: Physiotherapists who had some previous involvement in Disaster management will be identified. The participant will be identified selected using social media, emails, list of indian ssociation of physotherapists and who are voluntery to participate in study. Semi structure questionnaire is formed which includes closed ended questions of role of physiotherapy in Disaster. The Telephonic, personal and focus group discussion will be conducted to collect data from participants. OUTCOME MEASURES: 1) Role of physiotherapy in disaster management in each phase preparedness, relief and rehabilitation.
