1. Surgeons with a history of neuromuscular or musculoskeletal disorders affecting the upper limbs or hand function.
2. Any recent hand injury or surgery.
3. Surgeons on medications that may influence motor function or cause fatigue.

Brief Summary
|
This observational, cross-sectional study will aim to compare hand dexterity between first-year postgraduate surgery students and senior surgical residents using the Purdue Pegboard Test, a standardized tool for assessing fine motor skills. A total of 64 participants will be included, using convenient sampling, and equally divided between the two groups. The test will evaluate performance on tasks involving the dominant hand, non-dominant hand, both hands, and assembly tasks. |
