2)Having more than six months of clinical experience at wards/ units for serving patients diagnosed with cancer .

3) Providing direct bedside patient care for dying cancer patient at wards / units.

4) Willing to participate , with adequate English reading and communication skills .

Modification(s)  		 Palliative care is an essential component of comprehensive healthcare, particularly for patients with cancer, as it aims to improve quality of life and provide relief from physical, psychological, social, and spiritual suffering. This study aims to assess the knowledge of palliative care among nursing staff working in oncology hospitals in Pune, India. A structured questionnaire will be developed and validated by experts. The validated questionnaire will then be administered to eligible nursing staff to assess their knowledge regarding palliative care. The findings of the study may help identify knowledge gaps and highlight the need for appropriate education and training in palliative care among nursing professionals.
