Brief Summary
|
The study will be intervened by self administered tila taila padabhyanga procedure. It will be done from toes to hip region with gentle stroking for 10 minutes towards the direction of heart on both legs in male runners for 30 days. The performance of runners regarding speed and pace of running as objective parameter for bal and sthairya and other subjective parameters regarding benefits of padabhyanga as kharatva means roughness stabdhatva means stiffness roukshya means dryness shrama means tiredness supti means numbness soukumarya means softness padasputan means crack feet sirasnayu sankoch means cramps will be recorded pre and post padabhyanga. All pre and post trial findings will be recorded in Case record form and compared with appropriate statistical test and conclusion will be drown accordingly. A validated questionnaire will be used for subjective parameters. |
