Intervention  Karma Yoga based Self Guided Intervention  Adapt a Karma Yoga program, based on earlier developed interventions at Nimhans (Sahota, 2020; Aswathy, 2021). Broadly include sub-modules on Self-discovery (svabhava, swadharma), interpersonal harmony (brahmavihara, lokasamgraha), experiences and letting go (Samata, tapas). It will have a mix of audio-based meditation techniques, worksheets, stories, quotes, and introspection questions. The interventions will be made available in English, Hindi, and Kannada languages. Participants will be provided with a Karma Yoga-based self-guided program, fortnightly online video sessions will be conducted to clarify the doubts, also through asynchronous mode, weekly email reminders will be sent to the participants to complete the intervention modules. Intervention for 6 weeks and follow up after one month of intervention 
Comparator Agent  Online Psychoeducation  Psychoeducation materials on compassion fatigue and burnout which includes treatment as usual. Duration of 6 weeks of psychoeducation and later to provide intervention for 6 weeks, and follow up after 1 month.

Having adequate training (MSc, MA, or MSW) in telephone counselling

Brief Summary   Topic- Effectiveness of a Karma Yoga-focused self-guided program for reducing Compassion Fatigue and enhancing Well-being of telephone counsellors

Primary Investigator- Kiran Kumar CTL

Aim- To assess the effectiveness of a Karma yoga-focused Self-guided program on reducing compassion fatigue and increasing the well-being of telephone counsellors

Objective:

To assess the level of compassion fatigue and distress among telephone counsellors in both groups

To understand the relationship between compassion fatigue, distress, and well-being of telephone counsellors in both groups

To compare levels of compassion fatigue after the karma yoga-focused self-guided program between groups
Procedure- 140 Healthy telephone counsellors will be recruited, individuals who fulfill the inclusion criteria only are selected, and then randomly divided into two groups, the first group of telephone counselors will receive karma yoga-based self-guided intervention, and the second group will receive Psychoeducation materials. Pre and post, data will be taken for comparing both the groups, the intervention will be for 6 weeks and after one month follow-up will be done.
