Brief Summary   Brachial plexus block has evolved as an important tool as a safe alternative to general anaesthesia for upper limb surgery and peri-operative analgesia.Bupivacaine is a potent local anaesthetic drug  widely used for prolonged local and regional anaesthesia. Many additives can be added to local anaesthetics such as opioids, clonidine, tramadol, dexmedetomidine, dexamethasone that have been used to increase the duration of the block, to improve the postoperative pain management. In this study we compare duration of analgesia, onset and duration of sensory and motor block and hemodynamic parameters in supraclavicular brachial plexus block with Dexamethasone 4mg and 8mg as an adjuvant to 0.5% Bupivacaine.
