Brief Summary

We see that nowadays life has become faster, with everyone multitasking. No one focuses on a single task wholeheartedly; instead, they juggle multiple tasks, and as a result, none of them is done perfectly. This is largely due to the nature of work in urban areas, where most jobs are computer-based, and the physical aspects of work have drastically changed. Moreover, the internet and social media constantly provoke us to do more, leading us to try to control numerous things while sitting in front of our phones or computers. In short, we are unable to concentrate on one task at a time. The result is that we are not moving toward our goals, and we don’t achieve the results we desire. This lack of focus leads to stress, which is building up in society. Stress, in turn, is causing numerous health issues for individuals and society as a whole.

To address this problem, we must first understand its nature, as described in Ayurveda through the concept of Manas Prakruti. To overcome stress, ancient Vedic mantras, such as chanting the Maha Mrityunjaya Mantra, can be beneficial. This study aims to explore the relationship between Manas Prakruti and the effect of the Maha Mrityunjaya Mantra on stress.
