Brief Summary
|
Our study titles "Awareness of pulmonary rehabilitation among chronic respiratory conditions" focuses on evaluating the knowledge and understanding of pulmonary rehabilitation (PR) in individuals with chronic respiratory diseases such as COPD, bronchiectasis , interstitial lung disease and post TB sequence . pulmonary rehabilitation is a comprehensive intervention that combines exercise training , education and psychological support to improve the physical and emotional well being of patients with chronic respiratory conditions . despite its proven effectiveness in reducing symptoms , enhancing functional capacity and improving the overall quality of life , PR remains underutilized , largely due to lack of awareness among patients and heath care providers . The aim of this study is to asses awareness levels , identify barriers to the adoption of PR programs , and high light the importance of PR as an essential part of chronic respiratory disease management. by identifying these gaps we aim to advocate for better education and accessibility to PR programs in clinical and community settings . This research is significant as it sheds light on the critical need for PR awareness , enabling more patients to benefit from this intervention and ultimately improving health outcomes . We aim to bridge the gap between availability of PR services and their accessibility to patients who need them the most . |
