Intervention  Educational intervention   a computer-assisted teaching program given to a group of 3 to 4 patients with psoriasis, aimed at equipping them to engage in actions that help foster their self-management efficacy and coping with psoriasis. This includes a basic understanding of psoriasis, dietary modifications, skin care practices, regular physical activity recommendations. Participants will be provided with a booklet on self-care management of psoriasis and telephonic follow up will be done by the investigator. After 4 weeks post test will conduct for both group in order to identify the effectiveness of educational intervention. The total duration of the study is 6 weeks.

Brief Summary   This study is a quasi experimental pretest post test control group design. The sampling technique is purposive sampling, to identify the effectiveness of educational intervention on self management efficacy and coping among patients with psoriasis. The study will conduct in OPD of Government Medical College Hospital, Kottayam. The study duration is 6 weeks. The primary outcome is to improve self-management efficacy and coping with psoriasis. The secondary outcomes are to identify the association of self management efficacy with selected variables and to identify the association of coping with selected variables.
