Brief Summary   A pragmatic  trial is planned in Corn (Kadara) after excision and agnikarma to heal the wound by comparing Yashtimadhuadi ghrta and Jeeraka ghrta. Burns are very common and has the global prevalence of 6-7 million per year. There are so many medicines in Ayurveda which are beneficial in treating burns. One such yoga mentioned in Susruta samhita sutrasthana Agnikarma vidhi is Yashtimadhuadi ghrta. It contains 8 drugs having the property of RopanÌ£a. There are simple formulations available in the latterly evolved classical Ayurvedic books, which are found to be effective in clinical practice but not yet scientifically validated.  JiÌ„raka GhrÌ£ta is a formulation explained in the context of AgnidagdhavranÌ£a CikitsaÌ„dhikaÌ„ra consisting of easily available drugs like JiÌ„raka, Sarjarasa and MadhuÌ„cchisÌ£tÌ£a which can be easily prepared. This study  will be done in 15 participants in each group for a period of 14 days, in the age group of 21-70 years. Participants diagnosed as per diagnostic criteria and satisfying inclusion criteria will be selected consecutively into 2 groups from the OPD of VPSV Ayurveda College Hospital, Kottakkal. After Agnikarma, Group 1 participants will be dressed with JiÌ„raka GhrÌ£ta, and Group 2 participants will be dressed with YasÌ£tÌ£iÌ„madhuaÌ„di GhrÌ£ta once in alternative days up to 14 days. Assessment will be done on subjective parameters like pain and burning sensation and objective parameters like size of wound and discharge. Data will be analysed using appropriate Statistical tests.
