The age of the participants must be above 18year.We choose participants those must be residents of the selected geographical area. Carefully we have to see that, the participants must be able to read and understand the language in which the survey is administered. Participants must provide informed consent to take part in the study. |

Brief Summary
|
2. Aim and objectives: Aim: The aim of this study is to evaluate the level of awareness and the nature of concerns among consumers regarding the use of plastic packaging in food products. The study seeks to understand consumer perceptions, knowledge about the potential health and environmental impacts of plastic food packaging, and their willingness to adopt alternatives. Objectives: Measure Consumer Awareness: To assess the awareness of consumers about plastic food packaging. To investigate consumer perceptions of the safety and quality of food products packaged in plastic. To analyse the association between the socio demographic background and perception on food packaging.
This study will employ a cross-sectional design incorporating a survey. The study protocol will be submitted for approval by the Institutional Ethics Committee (IEC). Participant Recruitment: Participants for this study will be selected using a convenience sampling method. They will be contacted and provided with the survey forms through various digital platforms, including social media and messaging applications such as WhatsApp, SMS, and email. The initial group of respondents (primary respondents) will be encouraged to share the survey with their contacts (secondary respondents). Eligibility for participation includes individuals aged 18 years and above who are willing to participate in the study. All potential participants will receive detailed information about the study, including its objectives, procedures, and any potential risks and benefits. Those who consent to participate will be given access to the questionnaire via a Google Form. |
