Brief Summary
Modification(s)
This study aims to evaluate the effect of plyometric training on core stability, lower limb strength and aerobic fitness among male collegiate football players. The research will be conducted at Yenepoya Deemed to be university. A total of 27 collegiate football players age between 18-30 years and willing to comply with the study requirements will be recruited. Demographic data will be collected for each participant upon enrollment. Following enrollment, participants will be focus on plyometric training. Pre-intervention (or baseline) measures will be taken after the familiarization period, and post-intervention readings will be taken after six weeks of respective training. The plyometric training will be given weekly twice for a 6-week along with the regular training. All measurements will be taken solely by the Principal Investigator (PI). Only authorized study personnel will be present during the measurement. This study will adhere to ethical guidelines, and participants will provide informed consent before participating in the research. Confidentiality and privacy of participant information will be strictly maintained. This study aims to provide valuable insights into the effect of plyometric training on core stability, lower limb strength and aerobic fitness, with the potential to inform future training practices and improve overall athletic performance.
