Intervention / Comparator Agent
Type  Name  Details
Comparator Agent  Conventional Therapy  this group will receive 45 minutes of conventional physiotherapy. Warm up (Stretching, breathing, active or assisted active movements of arm and legs), Mat activities including turning of trunk, trunk rotation, prone on elbow or hand, quadruped or kneeling, half kneeling to sitting and standing, strengthening isometric exercises of back and abdomen, sitting and standing balance, cool down (Stretching, breathing, active or assisted active movements of arm and legs).
Intervention  Non-hemiplegic side strengthening and conventional therapy  this group will receive 25 minutes of non-hemiplegic side strengthening along with 20 minutes conventional therapy. Non-hemiplegic lower limb stepping forward training repeatedly with resisting elastic belt (Thera-Band), 3 sets and 10-15 repetitions in each set. Non-hemiplegic upper limb pulling elastic belt repeatedly in standing position, 3 sets and 10-15 repetitions in each set. The elastic belt (red, green or blue) was selected according to the patient’s own state, and the elastic belt should be stretched double during the training. Hemiplegic lower limb stepped over an obstacle or climbed a platform repeatedly, 3 sets and 10-15 repetitions in each set. The patients stretched arms to touch distant objects repeatedly in standing position.

Brief Summary
This study intended to find the effect of non-hemiplegic side strengthening on functional mobility in patients with stroke using experimental and control group. for both groups conventional therapy will be given whereas experimental group will be additionally treated strengthening exercises on the non-hemiplegic side. The outcomes of the study will be assessed by Timed UP and Go Test and Functional Reach Test to measure the scores of functional mobility.
