Brief Summary
|
The research follows a cross-sectional study design to establish normative values and assess the test-retest reliability of neck strength, endurance, and proprioception tests in collegiate students. A sample of 200 participants, aged 18–25 years, will be recruited from universities in and around Delhi NCR using a convenience sampling method. The study will take place at the Rehabilitation Centre, Department of Physiotherapy, Jamia Hamdard, over a three-month period. Participants will undergo two testing sessions, spaced six hours apart, where measurements of neck strength, endurance, and proprioception will be recorded. Standardized assessment tools, including the Neck Flexor Endurance Test, Cranio-Cervical Flexion Test, and Joint Position Error Test, will be used. Data will be collected manually, and statistical analysis will be performed to establish normative scores and evaluate the reliability of these measures. Ethical considerations include informed consent, confidentiality, and the voluntary nature of participation. |
