The survey was administered to 168 registered Ayurvedic practitioners with more than ten years of clinical experience, selected through stratified random sampling across the three zones of Kerala — North, Central, and South — with fifty-six participants from each zone. Data were collected through a Google Form-based questionnaire after obtaining informed consent. Statistical analysis was performed using frequencies for distribution of variables, percentages for proportional representation, and chi-square tests to assess associations between variables, while factor analysis was applied to establish the construct validity of the instrument. The findings of the survey were integrated with the qualitative insights from the preceding phases to produce a comprehensive, multi-layered understanding of how the concept of Gulma is understood and applied by contemporary Ayurvedic physicians in Kerala, and to identify the challenges, gaps, and priorities that should guide future research and educational reform in this domain.
