Brief Summary  

A RANDOMIZED CONTROLLED CLINICAL STUDY TO EVALUATE THE EFFICACY OF TRINA TAILA  IN MANAGEMENT OF PAMA KUSHTA IN CHILDREN.

Pama kushta one among the kshudra kushta , which exhibit specific lakshana like shweta ,shyava ,aruna pidakas, kandu, srava, paridaha adhika ruja, sukshma , bahu pidaka’s  on sphik, pani ,pada  ,   other parts of the body.  It is co-related with scabies in dermatology

HYPOTHESIS:

      H0-There is neither statistically significant difference between the effect of Trina taila and Durvadya taila   nor Trina taila  is better than Durvadya taila in the management of Pama kushta in children.

      H1- There is statistically significant difference between the effect of Trina taila and Durvadya taila , with Trina taila   better than Durvadya taila in management of Pama kushta in children. 

 METHOD OF COLLECTION OF DATA

 

                 SAMPLE SIZE:

            40 subjects fulfilling the Diagnostic and Inclusion criteria will be selected        

                 allotted in to groups A and B with 20 subjects each.

      Group(A) Trina Taila Group:   The  subjects  of this group will be treated with Trina taila application over the lesions with quantity sufficient dose at morning and evening time  followed by warm water wash for 7 days.

      Group (B) Durvadya taila group:   The subjects of this group will be treated with Durvadya taila application over the lesions with quantity sufficient dose at morning and evening time  followed by warm water wash for 7 days.
