Individualized Homoeopathic Medicine Using O.E. BOERICKE Repertory |
Intervention- Individualized Homoeopathic Medicine Using O.E. BOERICKE Repertory. Patients qualifying to inclusion criteria will be included in the study. Proper case taking of all enrolled patients will be done in standardized case taking proforma which is being used in State National Homoeopathic medical college and hospital. Homoeopathic medicines will be prescribed to all patients after analysis and evaluation of symptoms and proper repertorization using O.E. BOERICKE Repertory. Indicated homoeopathic remedy will be administered as decided appropriate to the case or condition in appropriate potency and doses. Brief Summary
|
This is an prospective, single arm clinical study which aims to access the utility of O.E. BOERICKE repertory in the treatment of Haemorrhoids. Outcome assessment of the patients will be carried out after 6 months of homoeopathic medication based on.ARSSQoL and ARSSQoL- NRS score will be calculated pre and post-treatment and the difference will be compared and analysed.
Haemorrhoids or Piles are naturally occurring vascular tissues in the anal canal that can become engorged and prolapsed due to straining, leading to symptoms such as pain, swelling and bleeding, These can be classified as internal or external haemorrhoids, with the latter being more painful when thrombosed. Haemorrhoids are common globally, with a higher prevalence in India (around 40 million cases). While haemorrhoids are usually benign , if untreated, they can worsen and potentially indicate more serious underlying issues. Homoeopathy offers holistic approach to treatment, focusing on the individual’s overall health and underlying factors rather than just local symptoms of disease. By treating the person ass a whole, homoeopathic remedies aim to gently address haemorrhoids. This study aims to explore the role of individualized homoeopathic medicines in their management of haemorrhoids by using O.E. BOERICKE repertory and to determine changes in the quality of life of patients suffering from haemorrhoids. |
