Brief Summary   UTILISATION OF ADOLESCENT FRIENDLY HEALTH SERVICES IN AJANUR VILLAGE OF KASARAGOD DISTRICT- A CROSS SECTIONAL STUDY

Objective  :      To determine the utilisation, extent of Adolescent Friendly health Services in Ajanur village of Kasaragod district
To determine the factors associated with utilisation of Adolescent Friendly Health Services
 Methodology 
                    

Study design  :This study is a community based Cross sectional study

Study setting :The study will be conducting at selected village (Ajanur) of Kasaragod district which has 49153 population and 10335 household. 

Study population :Adolescents 14-19 years of age (both boys and girls) from the Ajanur village of Kasaragod district who were present at the time of conducting the data collection period

Sample size :354( Adolescent age 14- 19 both female and male)

Data Collection: Door-to-door survey using validated tools

Ethical Considerations: Institutional Ethics Committee approval obtained; informed consent will be taken

Outcome : Utilisation Patterns – The study will provide insights into the extent to which adolescents access available AFHS, identifying gaps in awareness, accessibility and factors influencing utilisation of the services such socio economic characteristics, knowledge related factors and health system related factors
