Brief Summary
|
Sleep is a basic human need which is required for the healthy functioning of the mind and the body. Diabetes Mellitus has been found to be one of the common chronic medical conditions leading to
sleep disorders. Poor
sleep quality in turn can lead to worsening of glycemic control. This can thus lead to a viscous cycle
of poor sleep quality and uncontrolled blood sugar. This study aims to assess the quality of sleep in patients of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus and to find the correlation between quality of sleep and glycemic control of the patient. |
