Intervention  THROWERS TEN EXERCISE:  This program addresses principles of: coactivation, coordination, dynamic stabilization, neuromuscular control, proprioception, muscle strength, endurance and scapular rhythm all of which are vital for successful performance. The Thrower’s Ten Program, established by Wilk et al. is an evidence- based exercise program for the overhead athlete. This program utilizes isotonic movements that are derived from electromyographic research to specifically address vital muscles involved in the throwing motion IR/ER tubing at 0 degrees of abduction Wrist extension Split-stance lunge. Full Can Lateral raise to 90 degrees of abduction Squat stance Low row Modified robbery High row, external rotation (90-90) Side-lying external rotation (modified side plank) Forearm pronation Biceps Curl Forearm supination Triceps Extension Single leg squat / front step-down Wrist flexion Lateral slides

Brief Summary

•      Athletes involved in repetitive overhead activities place unique demands upon the shoulder girdle.

•      The glenohumeral joint is a common site for injury, which accounts for more than 30% of all injuries in overhead athletes.

•      Throwers show greater glenohumeral joint external rotation range of motion (ROM) of the dominant arm as compared to the non-dominant arm. This loss of glenohumeral joint internal rotation ROM in the dominant shoulder is referred to as glenohumeral internal rotation deficit (GIRD).

•      It is believed that due to this there might be hinderance in the throwing distance which in turn will lead to decrease in the accuracy as well .

•      The need of this study arise to know the  how much throwing accuracy of shoulder in handball player.

•      There are very less studies have been done on throwing accuracy among handball players.

•      Some studies have been done on throwing accuracy for another players but in this study we will find the effects of this on handball players.

•      Another the improve for shoulder strength  and prevent injury in future.
