Intervention / Comparator Agent
Type  Name  Details
Comparator Agent  Conventional therapy  Conventional therapy Conventional physiotherapy like breathing exercises, expiratory [Type here] exercises and airway clearance technique, postural drainage is given to group B Individuals .
Intervention  Postural correction using K-taping along with Conventional therapy  Kinesiology tape will be applied while the subject is standing upright in a posture with the scapulae retracted, with the kinesiology tape applied from the anterior of the scapular acromion up to the spinous process of the 10th thoracic vertebra and stretched to 30-40% greater length. To enhance the mechanical effect, the kinesiology tape will be applied once again to the same area of previous application, but now with a 50% overlap and stretched to 30-40% greater length. The tape will keep for 3-5 days on the day of discharge out come measures will be taken and results will be compared . group A recieve kt taping with conventional physiotherapy and Group B recives only conventional physiotherapy.

Brief Summary    Group A: Postural correction using K-taping along with Conventional therapy: Conventional Physiotherapy like breathing exercises, airway clearance technique, postural drainage will be given to all the patients according to their requirements/conditions along with kinesio taping. METHOD OF TAPING: Kinesiology tape will be applied while the subject is standing upright in a posture with the scapulae retracted, with the kinesiology tape applied from the anterior of the scapular acromion up to the spinous process of the 10th thoracic vertebra and stretched to 30–40% greater length. To enhance the mechanical effect, the kinesiology tape will be applied once again to the same area of previous application, but now with a 50% overlap and stretched to 30–40% greater length. The tape will keep for 3-5 days on the day of discharge out come measures will be taken and results will be compared . GROUP B: Conventional therapy Conventional physiotherapy like breathing exercises, expiratory exercises and airway clearance technique, postural drainage is given to group B Individuals . Outcome measures: PCI, ABG analysis and functional mobility by SPPB. All the outcome measures for both the groups will be taken on day 1 at admission, and at day 3 or day 5 at the day of discharge. And comparison will be done. Sampling procedure: convenient sampling Dosage: The physiotherapeutic intervention program will be given from day of admission to day of discharge for 3-5 days with k taping only for group A once a day. Group B will be receiving conventional therapy for the same duration, once a day.
