Brief Summary

The study aims to investigate the effect of Post-activation potentiation in cricketers on running speed and agility. The participants are divided into 2 groups, Group A and B. They will be asked to perform 3 tests- Run-a- three cricket test, pocket radar gun, cricket speed test. Group A will be given dynamic warmup as well as weighted sprints. Control group will be given only dynamic warmup as intervention. Session 1: they will perform submaximal bodyweight sprints and rest for 5 min to determine baseline sprint time, each participant completes 2 maximal effort 20 meters sprint. Finally, they are familiarized with assisted running by performing 3 sprints at 10, 20 and 30% body weight assisted session 2-5: same dynamic warmup, rest for 5 min before testing each session consists of 20 meters sprint with 30% BWA followed by rest time of 30 seconds, 1, 2, or 4 minutes sessions are separated by 24 hours |
