Record vital data & obtain written consent before the procedure. Preparation of Yavadi Lepa Mix equal quantities of Yava, Yashtimadhu, & Lodhra churna with water to make a paste. Pradhanakarma Apply the herbal paste over the face, avoiding the eyes, nostrils, & lips, using a spatula. Mukhamagatya Mandalam circular patches on face.
Shyavata(dark coloured) Kandu Daha.
Symetric ,reticulated hyperpigmented patches with irregular borders present on centrofacial ,malar , mandibular region .
Patients who will give consent for the use of drug

 
 
ExclusionCriteria 
Details  Vyanga caused due to any systemic disease eg- Dibeties,Cardiovascular disease ,Cushing syndrome
Patients having another chronic skin disease
Vyanga by birth (congenital)
Patients with long term medication like blood thiner
Pregnant women
Immuno compramised disease.

Brief Summary   The population based study from India shows prevalence of Melasma is 10.8%.In pathology of Vyanga Vata ,Pitta Doshas are vitiated.It is characterized as Aruja (painles), Tanu(thin layered) ,Shyava(dark patches) ,Mandal( circular patches) that appear on the face.Melasma which is similar to Vyanga is an acquired Pigmentory disorder. In which hypermelanosis of the skin caused due to human melanogenesis.Lepa is commnest treatment for Vyanga. Vyanga is disease which causes depigmentation and affects normal routine of life.so there is a need to find an alternative solution of this problem .present study of randomized controlled trial will be carried out to study the efficacy of Yavadi lepa in Vyanga with special reference to Melasma. For present study subjects between age group 20-50 will be taken irrespective of the religion ,gender ,socioeconomic status. Sample size found 26 but for the sake of convenience it is taken as32,adding prevalence of 20%.Total 64 patients will be taken for the study with 32 patients in Group A(trial group) and 32 patients in Group B(control group). Yavadi lepa is taken in group A(trial group) and Arjuna twaka lepa is taken in GroupB (control group).trial and control drugs will be purchased from GMC certified pharmacy. Procedure will be done with external application for 14 days . All SOP will be followed. All the findings will be entered in case record form .observations will be drawn before, during and after treatment .Result will be drawn with the help of statistical method .Discussion will be done on the basis of observations. Summary will be drawn .conclusion will be drawn strictly on basis of statistical analysis and will be unbiased.
