Intervention  Graston Technique  graston is a part of IASTM and it will be Given on hamstrings muscle and will be given for 90 seconds 
Comparator Agent  positional release technique  it will be given in patient supine with leg outside and flexed to 40 degrees and tender points will be palpated on medial and lateral hamstrings and treatment will be given for 90 seconds.

Details  1. Age: 25 to 60 years.
2. Gender: Females only.
3. Subjects who have experience of more than 2 years in dancing.
4. Subjects who are dancing 1 or more than 1 hour per sessions in dancing.
5. Subjects who are dancing 2 or more than 2 sessions per week.
6. Subjects having low back pain.
7. visual analog scale Score 3 to 7
8. Subjects having up popliteal angle less than 145 degrees.
9. Subjects willing to participate.
 
 
ExclusionCriteria 
Details  1. Subjects having severe neurological, cardio-pulmonary and musculoskeletal condition.
2. Subjects having any skin conditions.
3. Surgery done in lower limb and back in the last 3 months.
4. History of fracture in lower limb in the last 3 months.
5. Subjects involved in various fitness activities.

AIMS:

 

To compare the immediate effect of Graston technique and positional release technique on pain, hamstrings flexibility and function in Bharatnatyam dancers with mechanical low back pain.

 

OBJECTIVES:

 

 

·          To study the immediate effect of Graston technique on pain by visual analogue scale in Bharatanatyam dancers with mechanical low back pain.

·         To study the immediate effect of Graston technique on hamstrings flexibility by popliteal angle in Bharatanatyam dancers with mechanical low back pain.

·         To study the immediate effect of Graston technique on function by modified Oswestry disability index in Bharatanatyam dancers with mechanical low back pain.

·         To study the immediate effect of positional release technique on pain by visual analogue scale in Bharatanatyam dancers with mechanical low back pain.
