Brief Summary
|
Title: 2D Analysis of Cueing Form and Speed
in Recreational Snooker Players Post Resistance Band Training -An Experimental
Study
|
AIM: To evaluate the effect of Resistance band training on cueing form and speed
in Recreational Snooker Players.
Objective: To evaluate the effect of Resistance band training on cueing form and speed
in Recreational Snooker Players Using Kinovea 2D analysis on Parameters like;
cue stick speed, elbow/wrist angles, hip angle, shoulder abduction in
sagittal view, and shoulder levels , straight-strike in frontal view.
Secondary objective: To evaluate the effect
of Resistance band training on precision in Recreational Snooker Players
using a line-up test by calculating the maximum break, To evaluate to effect
of resistance training on accuracy in Recreational Snooker Players using the Cue
Alignment test by checking a straight shot from the Baulk line.
|
INCLUSION CRITERIA: Recreational
snooker player, aged 19-30 years willing to participate, Plays
snooker for leisure, and never received any formal training, All
Genders, Shoulder
external rotators strength < 4.5kg, middle/lower trapezius strength <
7.5kg, serratus anterior < 9.6kg, rhomboids < 6.6kg
EXCLUSION CRITERIA: Musculoskeletal
injuries/surgery to the upper extremity, hip, knee, and spine in the past 6
months., Known
Deformities of the upper limb, spine, and lower limb, Diagnosed
with neurological conditions, Hyper/hypomobility
of the upper limb. PROCEDURE: Participants with specific muscle strengths will be selected and briefed before being given the intervention. Data will be collected, video recordings will be made for analysis pre and post four weeks of resistance band training, participants will undergo line-up and cue Alignment tests. The data will be statistically analyzed to obtain the results.
