Comparator Agent  Active exercises on their own  Participants in the controlled group will be assessed over a 2-month period. Initially, subjects will undergo an assessment to record baseline data on menopausal symptoms, sexual function, sleep quality, and overall life quality. They will then engage in aerobic exercises on their own. Follow-up assessments will be conducted after the 4th week, 6th week, and 8th week to evaluate changes in the recorded parameters.
Intervention  Progressive Muscle Relaxation Technique. (PMRT)  PMRT for 2 months Progressive Muscle Relaxation teaches you how to relax your muscles through a sixstep process. First, you systematically tense particular muscle groups in your body, such as your neck and shoulders. Next, you release the tension and notice how your muscles feel when you relax them. This exercise will help you to lower your overall tension and stress levels, and help you relax when you are feeling anxious. It can also help reduce physical problems such as stomachaches and headaches, as well as improve your sleep. People with anxiety difficulties are often so tense throughout the day that they don’t even recognize what being relaxed feels like. Through practice you can learn to distinguish between the feelings of a tensed muscle and a completely relaxed muscle. Then, you can begin to “cue” this relaxed state at the first sign of the muscle tension that accompanies your feelings of anxiety. By tensing and releasing, you learn not only what relaxation feels like, but also to recognize when you are starting to get tense during the session.

Brief Summary
A study to evaluate the impact of Progressive Muscle Relaxation on Menopausal symptoms, Sexual function, sleep quality and overall life quality among menopausal women Objective: The study aims to evaluate the effects of Progressive Muscle Relaxation (PMR) on menopausal symptoms, sexual function, sleep quality, and overall life quality in menopausal women. MethodologyParticipants: Menopausal women were recruited and randomly assigned to either the PMR group or a control group.  Intervention: The PMR group underwent regular sessions of Progressive Muscle Relaxation, a technique that involves systematically tensing and relaxing different muscle groups to reduce stress and promote relaxation. AssessmentsMenopausal Symptoms: Evaluated using a standardized menopausal symptom checklist. Sexual Function: Assessed through questionnaires designed to measure various aspects of sexual health and function. Sleep Quality: Measured using validated sleep quality scales and self-reported sleep diaries. Overall Life Quality: Assessed with comprehensive quality of life questionnaires that cover physical, emotional, and social well-being. Progressive Muscle Relaxation is an effective technique for alleviating menopausal symptoms, enhancing sexual function, improving sleep quality, and boosting overall life quality among menopausal women. Regular practice of PMR can be a valuable non-pharmacological intervention to support women’s health during menopause.
