Individual Participant Data (IPD) Sharing Statement
|
Will individual participant data (IPD) be shared publicly (including data dictionaries)?
Response - NO
|
|
Brief Summary
|
· Subjects will be selected based on the
inclusion and exclusion criteria and the purpose of the study will be clearly
explained to the subject.
·
From the subject informed consent will
be collected.
·
Demographic data with medical history
will be collected.
· Subject will be assessed for
cardiovascular fitness using 6-minute push test, functional independence using
Spinal Cord Independence Measure(SCIM-III) and wheelchair skills using WST-Q
(Wheelchair skill test Questionnaire).
·
6-minute push test will be
conducted. The distance a participant could propel as far as possible, on a
flat, hard surface, within 6 minutes. The distance between the two cones
(turning points) will be 10m. Marking tape will be placed at 1-m intervals.
Before starting, rest time for the participant is 10minutes in their
wheelchair. Standardized instructions will be used before and during testing.
The participants can slow down, stop, and rest during testing, if necessary,
but should resume propelling as soon as possible.
·
Spinal cord Independence Measure-III
(SCIM-III) assessment will be done.
·
WST-Questionnaire will be used
to assess capacity,
confidence and performance in using wheelchair. |
