Brief Summary
|
Badminton is a really popular sport that millions of people play around the world. It doesn’t
matter if you’re just playing for fun or trying to be really good at it and this game is played by irrespective of
gender. Playing badminton can actually make you better at different skills, like how you move, how you’re built,
and how fit you are. Importantly strong and stable feet and ankles are really important for doing well in
badminton and also for avoiding injury. Approximately 40% of individuals who experience a significant ankle
sprain may develop long-term issues without adequate care. There is lack of evidence to prove how foot muscles,
bones and ligaments are affected in people with ankle instability. Therefore, this study helps to know the strength
of the foot in recreational badminton players with ankle instability. |
