Brief Summary
|
This study investigates the impact of yoga on lower back flexibility and body agility among housewives in Delhi NCR. Yoga, a holistic practice with roots in ancient Indian traditions, is known for enhancing physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. While yoga’s benefits for flexibility, agility, and overall health are well-documented, most research focuses on younger or athletic populations rather than housewives with sedentary lifestyles. Due to their daily household responsibilities, housewives often lack time for regular physical activity, leading to decreased flexibility, agility, and potential health issues over time. This pilot study fills a research gap by examining how a six-week yoga regimen tailored for housewives can improve functional fitness. Through a combination of asanas, pranayama, and meditation, participants will work on enhancing flexibility, balance, and body agility. The study assesses whether yoga can help reduce physical strain, support ease in daily tasks, and promote mental well-being, offering a practical, accessible approach to enhancing quality of life for housewives. Results could inform evidence-based strategies for integrating yoga into the lives of housewives, promoting independence and active lifestyles. |
