The study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of eco-friendly, natural coconut husk and shell ash powders in developing latent fingerprints. The primary purpose is to explore a cost-effective, health-safe alternative for fingerprint development that provides high-quality, clear prints with visible individual characteristics and pore visibility particularly when particle size is optimized. Given the abundance of coconut by-products in South India, this study investigates their potential as reliable alternatives to conventional fingerprint powders. |
