Intervention / Comparator Agent
Type  Name  Details
Comparator Agent  Demineralized freeze dried bone allograft  DFDBA stands for Demineralized Freeze-Dried Bone Allograft. It’s a bone graft material commonly used in dental procedures to promote bone regeneration. DFDBA is derived from human bone, which undergoes a process to remove mineral content while preserving bone-inducing proteins, such as BMPs (bone morphogenetic proteins). This makes it particularly effective for stimulating new bone formation when placed in areas needing regeneration, like in implant sites or defect areas in the jaw. Because DFDBA is an allograft (from a donor), it integrates well with the patient’s own bone, encouraging osteoconduction (providing a scaffold for new bone growth) and, in some cases, osteoinduction (actively stimulating bone growth).
Intervention  Platelet rich fibrin   PRF is obtained from the patients own blood through a process of centrifugation without any additives. This allows for a natural concentration of platelets and growth factors, which are essential for healinng.PRF contains growth factors like PDGF (platelet-derived growth factor), TGF-β (transforming growth factor-beta), and VEGF (vascular endothelial growth factor), which play a crucial role in tissue regeneration and angiogenesis.

Brief Summary   A randomized controlled clinical trial will be carried out on said sample sizes of non-restorable single rooted teeth sites(Maxillary anteriors). Sites were randomized into demineralized freeze dried bone allograft (DFDBA) combined with PRF as test group and only DFDBA as control groups using a coin toss method.Sequential drilling will be followed and Implant will be placed in the prepared osteotomy site .After the placement of graft material, PRF membrane was used to cover it. The clinical parameters recorded were bone healing ,formation & implant stability . All the parameters were recorded at baseline and at 90 and 180 days
