Preoperative hemoglobin more than or equal to 10 g/dl

Central venous saturation-ScvO2 more than or equal to 70%

American Society of Anaesthesiology -ASA Grade 2, 3 and 4
 
 
ExclusionCriteria 
Details  Left ventricular ejection fraction of less than 35%

Unstable angina pectoris

Heart failure with New York Heart Association class III‑IV

Acute myocardial infarction within the last 2 weeks

Previous CABG surgery

Patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease

On-table conversion to Cardiopulmonary bypass surgery

Brief Summary  

This study has been designed as a prospective observational cohort study and 57 patients scheduled for elective off-pump CABG surgery will be included in the study. We will analyze the utility of DeltaPCO2 gap / AVO2 content difference ratio in the assessment of tissue hypoperfusion secondary to low cardiac output state during Obtuse marginal artery distal anastomosis in off-pump coronary artery bypass grafting. Our Primary objective will be to calculate DeltaPCO2 gap / AVO2  content difference ratio around the time of Obtuse marginal artery distal anastomosis during off-pump coronary artery bypass grafting. The secondary outcomes will be to calculate DeltaPCO2 gap (PaCO2 – PcvO2), to analyze its correlation with tissue ischemia and to analyze the comparability of using central venous and mixed venous partial pressure of CO2, DeltaPCO2 gap (PaCO2 – PcvO2) and DeltaPCO2 gap /C(a-cv)O2 ratio.
