2.Patient having sign and symptoms of Janu Sandhigata Vata according to classics.
a)Sandhi shoola (joints pain)
b)Sandhi shoth (joints swelling)
c)Vatapurnadrutisparsh(joints Crepitus )
b) Prasarana Aakunchana vedana(pain in flexion and extension of joints)
3.Patient willing and able to participate in the study, irrespective of any gender,
occupation, religion, economic status.
4.Radiological degenerative changes in knee joints.
5. Patients who are ready to switch over to ayurved Medicine.
6. Patients who will fulfill the criteria and take regular medicines with regular follow up. 
 
ExclusionCriteria 
Details  1) Patients with fracture of Knee Joint will be excluded from the study.
2) Patients with Rheumatoid Arthritis, Rheumatic fever, Rheumatic Heart Disease, Gouty
Arthritis and Infective Arthritis, Koch’s disease.
3) Age group below 35 yrs and above 70 yrs.
4) Patient having disease like Diabetes Mellitus and Chronic Kidney Disorder.
5) Pregnant ladies and lactating mothers.
6) Malignancy .

Brief Summary   Due to continuous changes in life style over exertion , improper diatery habits, excessive travelling, improper working as well as improper application of Dinacharya (Daily Regimen) and RituCharya (seasonal Regimen) and likewise other factor leads to vitation of vatadosha. This vitation of vata dosha leads to production of number of disease and Sandhigata vata is one of them .The word "Gata’ in sandhigatavata denotes an initation of movement carrying something along with or to reach a particular site through any particular pathway, that leads to occupancy of that particular site. The presentation of this pathogenesis is seen as Janu Sandhigata Vata. Being most weight bearing joints the knees commonly get affected,presenting symptioms like Sandhi Shoola (joints pain) ,Sandhi Shotha (joints swelling), Vatapurnadrutisparsh(joints crepitus) , Prasaran Aakunchan vedana (pain in flexion and extension of joints).
