Intervention  Evaluate the effect of solution focussed Community intervention programme  Study participants are the primary care givers and stroke survivors residing in Neyyattinkara taluk selected by purposive sampling technique. Based on these data, the investigator conducts home visit to perform the intervention. Pretest will be done to assess the functional capacity of stroke survivors and level of care giver burden. The investigator will implement solution focused community intervention activities. Post test will be conducted after 6 weeks.

First phase of the study was completed as qualitative approach. Objective of qualitative phase is to explore the factors influencing the functional capacity of stroke  survivors  as perceived by relevant stakeholders. Based on the findings of qualitative phase, recruitment of sample for intervention is started.
