Parents of school-going children living within the regions of Manipal and Udupi.
The study will include parents of both children with special challenge and normal developing children.
Participants must be able to read and write either Kannada or English

Brief Summary
|
A cross-sectional quantitative study will be conducted from July 2024 to March 2025 to assess parental attitudes towards inclusive education in Manipal and Udupi. Parents of school-going children will participate by completing the Attitude Survey Inclusive Education – Parents (ASIE-P) questionnaire. Data will be collected in Microsoft Excel and analyzed using JAMOVI software for descriptive and correlation analyses. This study aims to understand current parental attitudes towards inclusive education in India and support occupational therapists in fostering inclusive environments for children with special needs. |
