Type  Name  Details
Intervention  Group 1- Bio-Oss   Bio-Oss is xenogenic graft material that can be used as bone substitute and helps in bone regeneration. After tooth extraction material is packed inside the socket and allow it to heal for a time period of 3 to 6 months. So that we can preserve the extraction socket and we can get sufficient bone for implant placement
Comparator Agent  Group 2 - Osseograft   osseograft is xenogenic graft material used for bone regenration. After tooth extraction material is packed inside the socket and allow it to heal for a time period of 3 to 6 months. So that we can preserve the extraction socket and we can get sufficient bone for implant placement l.

Brief Summary

This randomized controlled trial aimed to compare the effectiveness of Osseograft and BioOss in preserving alveolar ridge dimensions after tooth extraction using Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT). The study involved 30 extraction sockets from 20 participants, randomly assigned to either the Osseograft or Bio Oss group. Following atraumatic extraction, the respective graft material was placed in the sockets, and the initial socket dimensions were recorded, both bucco lingually and mesio distally. After three months, CBCT scans were performed to assess changes in ridge dimensions, with primary outcomes focusing on the preservation of horizontal bone width.
