This study is a non randomised trial to assess the effectiveness of video assisted teaching regarding Alternative Birthing Position on improving level of knowledge and attitude among Multigravida mothers coming to JIPMER Antenatal OPD. Patients who meet the inclusion criteria were enrolled from antenatal OPD through convenience sampling method. Informed consent was obtained, and a pre-test was conducted. Self administered Knowledge Questionnaire and a five-point Likert scale were used to assess the knowledge and attitude of the participants.The first session of video- assisted teaching regarding Alternative Birthing Positions was given at Antenatal OPD and the same video was shared through whatsapp. The second session of video-assisted teaching was given on next antenatal visit and doubts were clarified. Post-test knowledge and attitude were assessed using the same knowledge questionnaire and Attitude Scale during the next antenatal visit.
