Brief Summary
|
Participating in cardiac rehabilitation (CR) has been found to have significant benefits for individuals with heart disease however it is underutilized. There is a huge gap where number of barriers such as referal, funding and transport have been identified for out patient (Phase 2 ) Cardiac Rehabilitation. This study explores the gaps by conducting interviews of administrators, health care providers, policy makers and focus group discussion with patients to understand the gaps, identify the current referal rate and develop a module which will address these gaps. The module will be validated using a Delphi method.
