Intervention  Brueggers Relief Excercise (BRE)  in sitting position asked to abduct and extend of thumb along with fingers, followed by wrist extension, elbow extention and forearm supination, the participant were instrucied to perform scapular retraction ,shoulder external rotation, shoulder abduction, and extension. Hold your head high in the air(tuck your chin), with a slight arch in the neck. Intervention will started from 10 second hold to 30 second ( 2 second increment in every session) , rest time 30 second . 2 set 20 repetition. Treatment duration -2 week , 12 sessions (6 sessions in a week)
Comparator Agent  Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF)  pull your chin in, and look at your right hip and rotated towards the right side.Therapist Give the resistance with the fingers and palm of that hand. Each pattern was performed for 10 repetitions. same exercises do with other direction Treatment duration -2 week , 12 sessions (6 sessions in a week)

Brief Summary

Need of the study : Lack of researches are done on showing effect of Bruegger’s Relief Exercise (BRE) on reducing pain, improve muscle endurance &  regaining function status on subject with Forward Head Posture (FHP).

Propreoceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) is also an adjunt therapy to reducing pain, improve muscle endurance &  regaining function status on subject with Forward Head Posture (FHP).

No studies have done to comapre the effect of Bruegger’s Relief Exercise (BRE) and Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) on Forward Head Posture (FHP).

So, the purpose of this study is to evaluate & compare the effect of Bruegger’s Relief Exercise (BRE) & Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) on pain, cervical muscle endurance & function in individuals with forward head posture (FHP).

AIMS of the study :To compare the effect of  Bruegger’s Relief  Exercise (BRE) versus Proprioceptive Neuromuscular   Facilitation (PNF) on pain , cervical muscle endurance and function in individual with Forward Head Posture (FHP).

Objective of the study

To study the effect of Bruegger’s Relief Exercise (BRE) on pain by VAS in  individuals with  Forward Head Posture (FHP).

To study the effect of Bruegger’s Relief Exercise (BRE) on muscle endurance by pneumatic pressure biofeedback device in individual with Forward Head Posture (FHP).

To study the effect of Bruegger’s Relief Exercise (BRE) on neck function by modified Neck Disability Index (mNDI) in individuals with Forward Head Posture (FHP).

To study the effect of Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) on pain by VAS in  individuals with Forward Head Posture (FHP).

To study the effect of Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) on muscle endurance by pneumatic pressure biofeedback device in individuals with Forward Head Posture (FHP).

To study of  the effect of Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) on neck function by modified Neck Disability Index (mNDI)  in individuals with Forward Head Posture (FHP).

To Compare the effect of Bruegger’s Relief Exercise (BRE) versus Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) on pain by VAS in individuals with Forward Head Posture (FHP).

To Compare the effect of Bruegger’s Relief Exercise (BRE) versus Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) on muscle endurance by pneumatic pressure biofeedback device in  individuals with Forward Head Posture (FHP).

To Compare the effect of Bruegger’s Relief Exercise (BRE) versus Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) on neck function by modified Neck Disability Index (mNDI) in individuals with Forward Head Posture (FHP).

Procedure:

Group A: bruegger’s relief exercise + conservative treatment

Group B : proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation+conservative treatment
