Brief Summary
|
Heel pain, a prevalent foot ailment, can lead to substantial discomfort and disability. Biomechanical factors often serve as the primary cause, triggering mild to moderate chronic heel pain. Common conditions associated with heel pain encompass plantar fasciitis, calcaneal spur, Sever’s disease, Achilles tendinopathy, and heel bursitis.
Given that Murphy’s repertory comprehensively incorporates modern terminologies and diagnoses, along with detailed rubrics for heel pain, I am inclined to explore its potential. Additionally, the inclusion of a constitution chapter in Murphy’s repertory facilitates the creation of accurate and straightforward constitutional prescriptions. With these considerations in mind, the focus has been placed on evaluating and analyzing the efficacy of Murphy’s repertory in addressing cases of heel pain.
Foot Function Index was developed in 1991 to measure the impact of foot pathology on function in terms of pain, disability and activity restriction. |
