Intervention / Comparator Agent
Type  Name  Details
Intervention  Ultrasound Guided Supraclavicular Approach To Brachial Plexus Block  Supraclavicular Block For USG guided SCB, patient will be positioned supine with a small roll beneath shouldered head turned to the contralateral side. The arm to be blocked will be kept adducted and hand will be rested over the abdomen. The transducer should be positioned transversely immediately proximal to clavicle at its midpoint. The brachial plexus will be seen as a collection of hypo echoic structures superficial to the artery posteriorly.Needle position should be confirmed with saline dissection. Inj Levobupivacaine 10ml should be given to supraletral aspect of artery and another 10ml should be given infra medial aspect of subclavian artery.A total amount of 20ml Inj Levobupivacaine 0.5% is to be given around subclavian artery.
Comparator Agent  USG GUIDED COSTOCLAVICULAR APPROACH TO BRACHIAL PLEXUS BLOCK  COSTOCLAVICULAR BLOCK For USG guided CCB, patient should be positioned supine, with ipsilateral arm abducted for the scan and the head was turned slightly to the contralateral side. The transducer will be placed transversely distal to the clavicle directly over the midpoint of clavicle. The 3 cords of the brachial plexus will be clearly visualised lateral to Axillary artery.Needle position will be confirmed by saline dissection. Inj Levobupivacaine 0.5% 10ml to be injected around the medial cord and posterior cord.Subsequently Inj Levobupivacaine 0.5%10ml to be injected to the lateral cord.
