Individual Participant Data (IPD) Sharing Statement

Will individual participant data (IPD) be shared publicly (including data dictionaries)?

Response - NO
Brief Summary   The subjects will be selected based on the inclusion and exclusion criteria.

The purpose or nature of the study will be clearly explained to the participants and informed consent was obtained from the subjects.

Prior to the test, player must follow a warm up session including 5-10 minutes jogging, followed by static and dynamic stretching, as warm-ups correspond to the biomechanical and physiological nature of the test.

Agility tests included Slalom test, T-test and short sprint of 10-m sprint performed on natural grass. The players will be briefly explained about the tests and 1 trial before the test will be allowed. Each player will perform 2 trials of each test during 2 consecutive weeks, with the better time used to represent each week. Rest interval between trials will be a minimum of 5 minutes until the individual ready for next test. Test order will be randomized by position groups to minimize the effect of fatigue on test performance.

Minimal exertion and training program between the trials will be ensured as the data will be collected during off season period to minimize errors.
Hand timing in the agility tests will commence with the first indication of movement by the player with the help of a stopwatch. Strong verbal encouragement can be given by coaches and players during all performances to maximize their effort.

In the inter- rater reliability, the second professional physiotherapist would be trained for the test procedure but would be blinded about research objectives and outcomes, thus he/ she will assess the same individual after 48 hours so as to ensure adequate recovery and reduce fatigue rate of repeated measures. Few data collectors will be trained to collect demographic data and record the assessments of the players.

After the values are recorded, data will be analysed and the correlation between the tests will be determined in terms of its reliability and SWD.
