Tissue Flossing |
Tissue Floss Band will be wrapped around the knee joint with 50% stretch and 50% overlap and AROM will be done for 2-3 minutes and then removed. Vertical jump height test will be measured pre and post intervention |

i. Knee surgery individuals 7 ±1 months after the surgery and considered as Return to Sport.
ii. no previous surgery and no history of musculoskeletal injury of the lower limb during 3 months before testing

Brief Summary
|
Vertical jump height is one of
the common convenient tests for determining the explosive power of sports
athletes, which in turn deduces their performance on the field. It measures the
difference between the highest jumping point and their erect standing point by
marking a point above them with chalk. Tissue flossing is a novel intervention found
by few researchers to have shown improvement in the range of motion and muscle
power when low-intensity exercises are done with its application for a few
minutes. So, in this study, we aim to find out whether tissue flossing on knees of 6-8 months post knee surgery individuals improves vertical jump height
and hence their power when compared to those without floss. |
