| Details |
We are recruiting women who have delivered preterm so that a pre-determined set of risk factors can be acquired from their obstetric history. Appropriate number of women who have delivered term are also recruited so that the same set of risk factors are collected from them. Thus, studying their association with preterm delivery. |
|
| ExclusionCriteria |
| Details |
Those women who do not have their obstetric history available and those who are unwilling to reveal their obstetric data.Postpartum Women admitted to HDU/ICU due to critical obstetric/non-obstetric problem. |

Brief Summary
|
Research on preterm deliveries is crucial for several reasons. Firstly, it helps identify risk factors, allowing for early interventions to reduce the incidence of preterm births. Additionally, studying preterm deliveries contributes to advancements in medical understanding, leading to improved prenatal care and neonatal outcomes. This research also aids in developing targeted interventions for high-risk populations, ultimately enhancing maternal and child health. This study by proving the strength of association between risk factors and preterm delivery, will help in focusing interventions on specific high-risk populations, thus improving perinatal outcome. |
