1. Efficacy of flipped classroom teaching learning method in comparison to the usual teaching method will be done by comparing the results of the pre-tests and post tests which will be analyzed through paired t test to show the effectiveness of flipped classroom method of teaching.
2. Improvement in the comprehension of students will be assessed by comparison of Formative Assessment in the form of LAQs conducted at the end of the class

Brief Summary   This study is an experimental research designed to determine the efficacy of a Flipped Classroom Method over the Traditional Method of teaching Homeopathic Materia Medica to Undergraduate III BHMS Students. Homoeopathic Materia Medica is a subject in homoeopathy that concerns with indications of medicines used in clinical practice. It is collection of symptoms or indications. The usual teaching of the subject for the undergraduates is done through lecture method. The duration of the lecture usually is around 45 minutes. The challenges faced are usually limitation of attention span leading to partial grasp of the topic. At the same time since the lecture method is one-sided from the teacher to the student, involvement of students is limited leading to passive learning. There is limited scope of interaction and doubt solving as majority of the time gets spent in delivering the facts and the topic is partially grasped. All of this reflects in the students’ performance at the exams and eventually the application. With a view to address the above difficulties it was thought to use flipped classroom as an innovative learning strategy and observe its benefits while teaching a content heavy subject of Materia Medica.
