Brief Summary
|
Kabaddi is a highly complex sport and presents great challenges to players of all levels. In this game players in each team alternatively move to other side of the line trying to catch as many players as possible in team. Therefore, running, kicking jogging tricking are essential skills in this game (Singh, 2022). It is important for a kabaddi player to have good balance between both hands and legs. Kabaddi is the game of speed, power and control (Anita and Jyoti, 2020). Only some studies found the effects of pilates and swiss ball exercises in various games. None of the previous studies have compared the effect of swiss ball exercises and pilates exercises on various fitness parameters in kabaddi players. The current study intends to compare the effects of swiss ball exercises and pilates exercises to find out which of the two exercises is more effective in improving fitness parameters such as balance, coordination, agility and abdominal muscle strength in kabaddi players.
