Details  Patients having sign and symptoms of Dushta Vrana (Infected Wound) like Srava(slough), Durgandha (Foul Odour), Daha (Burning Sensation), Vedana (Pain), Kandu (Itching). Those who are willing and fulfill 3 out of 5 from these criteria will be included. Dushta Vrana size maximum upto 5cm x 5cm x 1cm (length x breadth x depth ). Patients of controlled Hypertension and Diabetis Milletus on their regular medicines will be included. 
 
ExclusionCriteria 
Details  Patients having diseases like severe septicemia, severe anaemia(Hb less than 8), Uncontrolled Diabetis Milletus. The patients suffering from systemic disease such as Malignancy, Varicose Ulcer , Deep Vein Thrombosis, Arterial Ulcer, Neurogenic Ulcer , Leprosy , Pregnancy, Leukemia.

Brief Summary  

A randomized controlled clinical trial to evaluate the efficacy of karanja taila vikeshika with chlorhexidine acetate dressing in the management of dushta vrana (infected wound). To observe the action of karanja taila vikeshika in comparison to the chlorhexidine acetate dressing in the management of infected wound. Total 60 patients will be enrolled with the sign and symptoms of dushta vrana (infected wound).30 patients in each group diagnosed with dushta vrana will be treated with karanja taila vikeshika and other 30 patients with chlorhexidine acetate dressing for local application. Assessment will be done on 5th , 10th and 15th day and final conclusion will be drawn on the basis of statistical method.
