Details  • Females of age group between 45 to 56 years diagnosed with Menopause
• Post menopausal women experiencing non specific low back pain without a specific identifiable cause.
• Post menopausal women with non specific low back pain experiencing for duration of three months.
• Post menopausal women with severity of pain more than 5 as assessed in Numerical pain rating scale.
• Post menopausal women who have not responded adequately to previous physiotherapy modalities.
• Post Menopausal with functional limitation and decreased ability to perform the work due to low back pain as assessed by Oswetry Disability Index score less than 24.
• Decreased quality of life due to low back pain as assessed by MENQOL Questionnaire score more than 40
 
 
ExclusionCriteria 
Details  • Age more than 57
• Pre Menopausal women
• Women with psychological pain
• Menopause Women diagnosed with Lumbar fractures
• Menopause women who have undergone any Lumbar Surgery
• Stroke, spinal cord pathology.
• Inflammatory joint disease.
• Lumbar spine infection
• Marked osteoporosis, Lumbar spine cancer

• Congestive heart failure, uncontrolled hypertension ,pacemaker, internalized metal stent

Brief Summary  

Pilates training is a new emerging concept. we are going to study of giving the pilates training for the post menopausal women having non specific low back pain for post menopausal women and how it is decreasing the lumbago and improving the flexibility and endurance. Post menopausal women having low back pain will be asked to for the informed consent and they will be selected for the two groups. One group will be getting Pilates exercise, another group will be getting conservative back exercises.
