2Intervention ArmProcedure-sirAvedhaH, सिरावेधः (Procedure Reference: sushrut samhita chikitsa sthan chapter 5/12 and sushrut samhita shareer sthan chapter8/23 versus, Procedure details: For siravedh in the foot, patient will be in sitting position on the table/chair and foot will be on flat surface and a torniquet will be applied to just above the ankle joint (i.e. above the ksipra marma) and site will be properly cleaned with antiseptic solution. After that siravedh will be done in prominent vein by 24 no. sterile disposable needle at the site 2 angula (approx. 4cm) above the Ksipra marma i.e. dorsal venous network in dorsal venous arch in foot.Blood of bloodletting will be collected in a measuring jar. )

Details  1. Patients of classical sign and symptoms of Vatarakta (Gout)with serum uric acid level greater than 7mg/dl in males and 6mg/dl in females.
2. Age 16 to 70 years, of either sex.
3. Patients willing to undergo trial.
 
 
ExclusionCriteria 
Details  1. Not willing to undergo trial.
2. Patients having other associated arthropathies.
3. Patients taking modern medicines like uricosuric or xanthine oxidase inhibitors.
4. Contraindication of Siravedh.
5. Patients suffering from any bleeding disorders, pregnancy, anemia, uncontrolled diabetes mellitus will be excluded from the study.
6. Existing or less than 2 weeks ago oral treatment with corticosteroids or colchicine

Brief Summary   It is a Randomized, Prospective, Open label, Interventional comparative clinical trial. Three groups have been made for the trial in which one of the group will receive Siravedh karma, second group will receive Gud Haritaki and third group will receive siravedha and Guda haritaki togetherly.
